ABSTRACT Introduction: The characteristics of basketball require excellent players with athletic abilities such as high explosive strength for the instantaneous jump up, flexible movements and quick changes of direction, and accurate passing and shooting. These characteristics can also be found in beach games, and it is believed that the practice of these games can benefit the practice of basketball. Objective: Explore the effect of beach training on the physical fitness of basketball players. Methods: Through a randomized controlled trial, 24 basketball players were selected to analyze the explosive power of the lower extremity in the 40m sprint race and in the vertical jump, two representative indicators of the explosive power of the lower limbs. The group teaching experiment was conducted for 17 weeks, five times a week. Results: The comparison in the statistical test of the 40m sprint, and the vertical jump before and after the experiment proves that, compared with the traditional practice of basketball, the practice of beach games has a beneficial effect on improving the explosive power of the lower limbs. Conclusion: Beach sports training has benefits for basketball practice; the characteristics on the beach basketball court and the playing characteristics of the athletes determined this. RESUMO Introdução: As características do basquetebol exigem excelentes jogadores com habilidades atléticas como alta força explosiva para o salto instantâneo para cima, movimentos flexíveis e mudanças rápidas de direção, além de passes e tiros precisos. Essas são características que também podem ser encontradas nos jogos de praia e acredita-se que a prática desses jogos possa trazer algum benefício para a prática do basquetebol. Objetivo: Explorar o efeito do treinamento na praia sobre a aptidão física dos jogadores de basquetebol. Métodos: Através de um estudo randomizado controlado, foram selecionados 24 jogadores de basquetebol para analisar o poder explosivo da extremidade inferior no sprint de corrida de 40m e no salto vertical, dois indicadores representativos do poder explosivo dos membros inferiores, foram selecionados. O experimento de ensino em grupo foi realizado durante 17 semanas, cinco vezes por semana. Resultados: A comparação no teste estatístico dos 40m de sprint e do salto vertical antes e depois do experimento prova que, comparado com a prática tradicional do basquetebol, a prática dos jogos de praia tem um efeito benéfico na melhoria da potência explosiva dos membros inferiores. Conclusão: O treinamento com esporte de praia traz benefícios para a prática do basquetebol, isto foi determinado pelas características na quadra de basquetebol de praia e pelas características de jogabilidade dos esportistas. Nível de evidência II; Estudos terapêuticos - investigação dos resultados do tratamento.


RESUMEN Introducción: Las características del baloncesto exigen jugadores excelentes con habilidades atléticas como una gran fuerza explosiva para el salto instantáneo, movimientos flexibles y rápidos cambios de dirección, así como pases y tiros precisos. Son características que también se pueden encontrar en los juegos de playa y se cree que la práctica de estos juegos puede aportar algún beneficio a la práctica del baloncesto. Objetivo: Explorar el efecto del entrenamiento en la playa sobre la aptitud física de los jugadores de baloncesto. Métodos: Mediante un ensayo controlado aleatorio, se seleccionaron 24 jugadores de baloncesto para analizar la potencia explosiva de la extremidad inferior en la carrera de velocidad de 40 metros y en el salto vertical, dos indicadores representativos de la potencia explosiva de las extremidades inferiores. El experimento de enseñanza en grupo se llevó a cabo durante 17 semanas, cinco veces por semana. Resultados: La comparación en la prueba estadística del sprint de 40 metros y del salto vertical antes y después del experimento demuestra que, en comparación con la práctica tradicional del baloncesto, la práctica de los juegos de playa tiene un efecto beneficioso en la mejora de la potencia explosiva de los miembros inferiores. Conclusión: El entrenamiento deportivo en la playa aporta beneficios a la práctica del baloncesto, esto fue determinado por las características en la cancha de baloncesto en la playa y las características de jugabilidad de los atletas. Biofilms are closely associated with the tough healing and dysfunctional inflammation of chronic wounds. Photothermal therapy (PTT) emerged as a suitable alternative which could destroy the structure of biofilms with local physical heat. However, the efficacy of PTT is limited because the excessive hyperthermia could damage surrounding tissues. Besides, the difficult reserve and delivery of photothermal agents makes PTT hard to eradicate biofilms as expectation. Herein, we present a GelMA-EGF/Gelatin-MPDA-LZM bilayer hydrogel dressing to perform lysozyme-enhanced PTT for biofilms eradication and a further acceleration to the repair of chronic wounds. Gelatin was used as inner layer hydrogel to reserve lysozyme (LZM) loaded mesoporous polydopamine (MPDA) (MPDA-LZM) nanoparticles, which could rapidly liquefy while temperature rising so as to achieve a bulk release of nanoparticles. MPDA-LZM nanoparticles serve as photothermal agents with antibacterial capability, could deeply penetrate and destroy biofilms. In addition, the outer layer hydrogel consisted of gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA) and epidermal growth factor (EGF) promoted wound healing and tissue regeneration. It displayed remarkable efficacy on alleviating infection and accelerating wound healing in vivo. Overall, the innovative therapeutic strategy we came up with has significant effect on biofilms eradication and shows promising application in promoting the repair of clinical chronic wounds.

Objective:To investigate the proportion of helper T lymphocytes 22(Th22) and levels of interleukin(IL)-22 in peripheral blood of children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), and analyze their relevance with JIA-related inflammatory cytokines.Methods:A total of 30 children with JIA who received treatment at the Department of Rheumatology, the Affiliated Children′s of Capital Institute of Pediatrics from November 2018 to December 2019 were enrolled as JIA group, and 12 healthy children at the same age were selected as healthy control group.The percen-tage of Th22 cells in peripheral blood was detected using flow cytometry.Concentrations of IL-22, IL-6, tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α), IL-17 and IL-10 were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Statistical analysis of the relevance of Th22 cells, IL-22 levels and inflammatory cytokines levels of IL-6, TNF-α, IL-17 and IL-10 in JIA were performed by Pearson test. Results:The proportion of Th22 cells in peripheral blood of patients in JIA group[(0.94±0.26)%] was higher than that of the healthy control group [(0.46±0.29)%], and the difference was statistically significant ( t=2.227, P<0.05). Plasma level of IL-22 of patients in JIA group[(185.2±11.93) ng/L] was significantly higher than that of healthy control group[(114.7±6.29) ng/L], and the difference was statistically significant ( t=3.632, P<0.001). The proportion of Th22 cells and the levels of plasma IL-22 in JIA patients were positively correlated with plasma levels of IL-6 (Th22: r=0.501, IL-22: r=0.573, all P<0.01), IL-17 (Th22: r=0.686, P<0.001; IL-22: r=0.445, P<0.01) and IL-10 (Th22: r=0.609, IL-22: r=0.284, all P<0.001). There was no relationship for Th22 cells and plasma levels of IL-22 with TNF-α. Conclusions:The proportion of Th22 cells and plasma levels of IL-22 significantly increase in peripheral blood of JIA patients and correlated with JIA-related inflammatory cytokines, which may play a potential role in the pathogenesis of JIA disease.

RESUMO

In this study, the specific primers and probes of Panax quinquefolius were designed for a quantitative real-time PCR, and the rapid identification method of P. quinquefolius was established by optimizing conditions. The method was used to validate 43 samples of the traditional Chinese medicine,and the results showed that 22 samples of P. quinquefolius were identified accurately. The limit of detection of the method can be reach to 1×10⁻⁴ ng. The method is accurate, fast, sensitive and specifically.

Objective:The aim of this paper is to explore the influence of physician's occupational risk cogni-tion on defensive medical behavior. Methods:Semi-structured interview was applied for data collection from in-serv-ice doctors. A grounded theory was used to analyze and develop the relationship between physicians'occupational risk cognition and defensive medical behavior. Results:This study shows that the cognition of various occupational risks may lead to a series of psychological effects on doctors,such as mental stress,anxiety and depression,professional i-dentity decrease,fear of adventure and innovation,job enthusiasm decrease and probability of malpractice increase. Adverse defensive medical behaviors, such as ordering more tests, treatments and consultations, selective treatment of patients,shirking responsibility through informed consent, and favorable defensive medical behaviors, such as to improve service attitude,being more cautious during work and to improve professional skills,should be in response to occupational risks. Conclusions:Physicians'occupational risk cognition is the primary motivation of defensive medical behavior,and the relationship between physicians'occupational risk cognition and defensive medical behavior may al-so be mutually causal and effect.

Objective To discuss the expression and clinical significance of microRNA(miR)- 766 in chil-dren with polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (poly - JIA). Methods A total of 23 children with poly - JIA who received treatment at the Department of Rheumatology,the Affiliated Children′s Hospital of Capital Institute of Pediat-rics,from November 2014 to September 2016,were enrolled as research group,and 24 healthy children at the same age were selected as healthy control group,while 24 children with oligoarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (oligo - JIA) and 19 children with juvenile ankylosing spondylitis (JAS)were selected as case - control groups. The expression lev-els of miR - 766 in plasmas were detected by real - time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). The clinical diagnostic values were analyzed by operating characteristic curve (ROC). Correlations between the expression levels of miR - 766 and clinical,laboratory results were analyzed by conducting Pearson correlation coefficient analysis. Results Compared with the healthy control group and case - control group,the expression levels of miR - 766 in poly - JIA group decreased,and the differences were statistically significant (t = 6. 897,6. 446,6. 218,all P < 0. 001). There was no statistical difference of miR - 766 levels in plasma between case - control groups and healthy control group (P >0. 05). Compared with the healthy control group,the area under ROC curve of miR - 766 was 0. 938 (95% CI:0. 872 -1. 000),and when the cutoff value of miR - 766 was 6. 083 pmol/ L,the sensitivity was 87. 0% and the specificity was 91. 7% . Compared with oligo - JIA and JAS,the area under ROC curves of miR - 766 was 0. 908 (95% CI:0. 819 -0. 996)and 0. 927 (95% CI:0. 865 - 1. 000),respectively. Correlation analysis indicated that the level of miR - 766 in plasma of poly - JIA children was positively associated with hemoglobin (r = 0. 651,P < 0. 001),but negatively asso-ciated with the 28 - joint Disease Activity Score (DAS28)and the percentage of type 1 helper T cells(Th1%)(r =- 0. 434,P = 0. 038;r = - 0. 417,P = 0. 008). Conclusions The expression levels of plasma miR - 766 in poly - JIA are significantly decreasing. miR -766 may serve as an evaluation indicator for the diagnosis and prognosis of poly - JIA.

Objective To optimize the conditions for the synthetic process of iron sucrose complex (ISC), via the investigation of the effects of reaction temperature (X1), reaction time (X2), amount of alkali (X3), and amount of sucrose (X4) on the relative molecular mass of the ISC product. Methods According to the experimental results for the single factor, the conditions dealing with the X1, X2, X3, and X4 parameters for the preparation of ISC were optimized by the Box-Behnker design combined with the response surface methodology using the weight average relative molecular mass of ISC as an indicator, and analyzed with gel permeation chromatography. Results The reaction temperature and the amount of alkali had a significant effect on the weight average relative molecular mass of ISC. The influence of the four factors in the descending order was as follows:X3>X1>X2>X4. In the designed experimental conditions, theresponsevaluedecreasedwiththeincreaseofbothreactiontemperaturesandalkaliamounts. Conclusion Theresponse surface methodology could provide the relationship between the response values and variables via the minimum number experiments to obtain the optimized conditions for the preparation of ISCs.

Objective To develop a teaching and examination system based on Delphi for the obstetric nurse. Methods The teaching materials were collected for the obstetric nurse, the teaching and examination mode was analyzed, and Delphi was used for programming and MySQL database was applied to teaching and examination data. Results The system had easy operation, high stability and rapid response to the database, and could meet the requirements for the teaching and examination of the trainee nurse. Conclusion The system realizes informatization and high expansibility of obstetric teaching and examination, and thus is worthy promoting practically.

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To explore the effect of Yougui Recipe, a kidney-supplementing and yang-activating formula which on the behavioral changes of rat of steroid-induced avascular necrosis of the femoral head (SANFH).</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Thirty Wistar rats were involved and were randomly divided into the blank control group (group A), the model group (group B) and the Yougui Recipe group (group C). SANFH models were established by injection of colibacillus endotoxin and prednisolone intramuscularly. Group C was lavaged with Yougui Recipe (10 ml/kg), while group A and group B were lavaged with the same amount of saline. The behavior of catch force, independent activities, the tail suspension, field experiment and water cleans maze experiment were observed after 6 weeks.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>Compared with Yougui Recipe, rats in model group: catch force and independent activity decreases; the tail suspension activities was less time. In the desert field experiments, the total distance in 10 min movement reduced significantly. In the water maze experiment, incubation period of escape had a long time obviously, total distance of activities reduced.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Yougui Recipe can relieve the ethologic change of rat model of steroid-induced avascular necrosis of the femoral head.</p>

RESUMO

Gene synthesis is the most fundamental and widely used technique in biological research. The synthesis of DNA encoding regulatory elements, genes, pathways and entire genomes provides powerful ways to both test biological hypotheses and harness biology for our use. The emerging field of synthetic biology is generating insatiable demands for synthetic genes. And the past couple of years witnessed exciting new developments in microchip-based gene synthesis technologies. This review discusses the current methods of chemical DNA synthesis and gene assembly, as well as the latest engineering tools, technologies and trends which could potentially lead to breakthroughs in the development of accurate, low-cost and high-throughput gene synthesis technology. These new technologies are leading the field of synthetic biology to a higher level.

Appearance of proteomics technology can fleetly filt and reveal specificity biomarkers of disease, this will help to reveal the pathogenesis of femur head necrosis and help early diagnosis, find more effective methods and therapeutic targets. At present, they are hot spots that find out the occurred mechanism,related proteins of early diagnosis and early treatment and its functional identification; set up the early related database; optimize the protein extraction methods for research of femur head necrosis. This article reviews the application of study technology of related proteins of femur head necrosis on bone tissue, serum,related animal model,and in order to provide further research ideas.

Retinoic acid-inducible gene I (RIG-I) is an important pattern recognition receptor that detects viral RNA and triggers the production of type-I interferons through the downstream adaptor MAVS (also called IPS-1, CARDIF, or VISA). A series of structural studies have elaborated some of the mechanisms of dsRNA recognition and activation of RIG-I. Recent studies have proposed that K63-linked ubiquitination of, or unanchored K63-linked polyubiquitin binding to RIG-I positively regulates MAVS-mediated antiviral signaling. Conversely phosphorylation of RIG-I appears to play an inhibitory role in controlling RIG-I antiviral signal transduction. Here we performed a combined structural and biochemical study to further define the regulatory features of RIG-I signaling. ATP and dsRNA binding triggered dimerization of RIG-I with conformational rearrangements of the tandem CARD domains. Full length RIG-I appeared to form a complex with dsRNA in a 2:2 molar ratio. Compared with the previously reported crystal structures of RIG-I in inactive state, our electron microscopic structure of full length RIG-I in complex with blunt-ended dsRNA, for the first time, revealed an exposed active conformation of the CARD domains. Moreover, we found that purified recombinant RIG-I proteins could bind to the CARD domain of MAVS independently of dsRNA, while S8E and T170E phosphorylation-mimicking mutants of RIG-I were defective in binding E3 ligase TRIM25, unanchored K63-linked polyubiquitin, and MAVS regardless of dsRNA. These findings suggested that phosphorylation of RIG inhibited downstream signaling by impairing RIG-I binding with polyubiquitin and its interaction with MAVS.

RESUMO

Glioma is the most frequently observed primary tumor of the central nervous system in adults. Among the glioma cases, more than three quarters of patients suffer from high-grade gliomas. High-grade glioma is not only a high-degree malignant tumor but is also an easily recurring disease after surgery with a very poor prognosis. Radiotherapy plus concomitant chemotherapy after operation is the standard treatment strategy for high-grade gliomas, which could increase the survival rate of patients. However, the curative effect is really not satisfactory because it could only guarantee a limited survival time. Over the recent years, molecular-targeted treatment has increasingly drawn the attention of scholars with the continuous development in glioma treatment, thereby becoming the hotspot among researchers. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is highly expressed in glioma and in the tissues surrounding the cancer cells. VEGF could regulate tumor growth by inducing endothelial cell proliferation, growth, migration, and by increasing the vascular permeability. Hence, VEGF becomes an effective target for the treatment of glioma. Bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody that can specifically prevent the combination of VEGF and its receptor, thereby inhibiting the formation of tumor blood vessels. At the same time, bevacizumab can normalize the tumor blood vessels, improve the permeability of blood vessels, and increase the effectiveness of drug concentration in the tumor tissues, thereby achieving anticancer efficacy. In this paper, the mechanism of bevacizumab is introduced. The research progress in the application of bevacizumab alone, as well as in combination with chemotherapy or other drugs, for the high-grade glioma treatment will be summarized.

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To explore effects of Yougui recipe (see text) and salmon calcitonin acetate in preventing osteolysis surrounding artificial prosthesis.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Thirty-two SD male rats with weighted (250 +/- 20) g, aged 8 weeks, were randomly divided into four groups: blank group, model group, salmon calcitonin acetate group and Yougui recipe (see text) group, and 8 rats in each group. Blank group did not undergo any process, other 24 rats underwent anesthesia by chloral hydrate, their knee joints were exposed through medial patellar side,drilling from fermoral condyle nest to marrow cavity,high density of polythlene particles were injected into hole, titanium nail were put into, bone wax closed the window, then suturing step by step. After the molding, saline were used to gavaged in blank group and model group, Yougui recipe (see text) for Yougui recipe (see text) group, salmon calcitonin maximus injection for calcitonin group. After 10 weeks' mediation, rats were executed, and arterial blood and bilateral femoral organization were collected to biochemical, imaging morphology, tissue pathology and molecular biology detection.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The key gene expression of activiting osteoclast were inhibited in Yougui recipe (see text) group and calcitonin group. The level of OPG, Ca, ALP in Yougui recipe group were higher than calcitonin group (P<0.01); the content of RANKL were lower (P<0.01). There were no significance meaning in RANK, Trap5b, P between two groups.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Both of Yougui recipe (see text) and calcitonin can slow and treat surrounding osteolysis of artificial joint prosthesis, and Yougui recipe (see text) has better effect in promoting bone formation. The effect of Yougui recipe (see text) in promoting bone formation, inhibiting osteoclasts to provide a new method to treating surrounding osteolysis of artificial joint prosthesis.</p>

Objective To explore predictive value of endometrial receptivity and pregnancy outcome by hysteroscopy examination at the phase of implantation window in unexplained infertile women.Methods From Oct.2007 to Mar.2009,93 unexplained infertile women underwent hysteroscopy examination at 7-9 days after a spontaneous ovulation in Family Planning Research Institute of Guangdong Province.According to the endometrial glandular openings and vascular shape,79 cases without pathological endometrial changes were divided into 60 cases in good endometrium group and 19 cases in poor endometrium group.The following clinical parameters were analyzed and compared between two groups,including endometrial configuration,thickness,secretion,the development and number of pinopodes,vascular distribution,and the level of sex hormone,leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) and glycodelin in the uterine flushing,and pregnancy outcome.Results (1)There was no statistical difference in the level of serum estrogen and progesterone at the phase of implantation window,which were (518 ± 176)pmol/L,(40 ±20)nmol/L in good group and (513 ±244) ptnol/L,(37 ± 19) nmol/L in poor group (P<0.05).The endometrium thickness at periovulatroy and implantation window days (1.06 ±0.10)cm/(1.16 ± 0.08)cm in good group did not show significant difference with (0.93 ±0.12) cm /(1.02 ±0.10) cm in poor group (P>0.05).The proportion of type A,B and C endometrium at periovulatory days were 63% (12/19),37% (7/19) and 0 (0/19) in good group and 23% (14/60),77% (46/60) and 0 (0/60) in poor group.When compared with those of type A or B between two groups respectively,it all showed statistical difference (P<0.05).However,at phase of implantation window,endometrium configurations were all type B at both groups.(2)90% (17/19)of women in good group and 7% (4/60)of women in poor group showed normal endometrial secretion function,which showed significant differences (P< 0.01).(3)The percentage of fully developed pinopodes and abundant pinopodes [84% (16/19) and 90% (17/19)] in good group were significantly higher than 42% (25/60)and 57% (34/60) in poor group (P<0.05).(4) The level of CD_(34) expression and microvessel density[MVD; (40.1 ± 1.2) positive unit(PU) and(21.7 ±4.0)/high power field (HP)] in good group were significantly higher than(18.1 ± 1.3) PU and (8.5 ± 1.3)/HP in poor group (P< 0.01).(5)The level of LIF and glycodelin in uterine flushing [(72 ± 54)ng/L and (196 ±20)μg/L] in good group were significantly higher than (15±16) ng/L and (116 ±26) μg/L in poor group (P<0.05).(6) The rate of clinical pregnancy,spontaneous abortion and term delivery were 74% (14/19),0 (0/14) and 100% (14/14) in good group and 23% (14/60),14% (2/14) and 86% (12/14) in poor group,the rate of clinical pregnancy and term delivery in good group were significantly increased when compared with those in poor group (P<0.01).Conclusions Hysteroscopy examination at the phase of implantation window could reflect the development of glandular openings and vasculature.It is a preferable method to evaluate the endometrial receptivity and predict pregnancy outcome.

RESUMO

An introduction of the design, features and contraceptive principle of an oviduct contraceptive plug is given in this paper. The plug is made of polyethylene, based on the oviductal morphology. It can be introduced and removed by a hysteroscope and is expected to be a transcervical, implantable and permanent intratubal contraceptive device.

RESUMO

Orange peel was used as lowcost adsorbent in binding of Methylene Blue.The effects of equilibrium time,pH,dye concentration have been studied.Carboxyl,amine and phosphonate functional groups were present in the orange peel.The equilibrium time was 1 hour,the maximum adsorption capacities of the orange peel was 370.3?31.0 mg/g at pH 10.The Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms were well fitted in this biosorption system.Results showed relatively higher rate constant and biosorption capacities.These adsorption performance indicate the orange peel as a potentially economical adsorbent for dye removal.
